De Zweede melodic death metal band Arch Enemy deelt op Facebook een bericht waarin ze melden dat vocaliste Alissa White-Gluz geen onderdeel meer uitmaakt van de band.
Het statement van de band luid als volgt:
Arch Enemy have parted ways with singer Alissa White-Gluz. We’re thankful hor the time and music we’ve shares and wish her all the best.
Wherever there is an ending, there is also a beginning.
See you in 2026.”
Opmerkingen onder het Facebook bericht zijn beperkt. De band heeft vooralsnog geen verder statement gegeven over de reden van het vertrek. White-Gluz deed sinds 2014 de vocalen voor de band en bracht met hun 4 albums uit, de meest recente “Blood Dynasty” in maart dit jaar.
Het statement van Alissa zelf luidt als volgt:
After 12 years in Arch Enemy, we have parted ways. I am forever thankful to the thousands of amazing fans I have met along the way.Thank you, Beastlings!
