De Amerikaanse metalcore band Attila heeft met de nieuwe track “New Devil” hun tweede single van 2024 uitgebracht. Op deze track is gastvocalist Dickie Allen te horen, bekend van Infant Annihilator en Nekrogoblikon.
Dickie Allen en Attila-zanger Chris Fronzak zijn beide betrokken geweest bij de deathcore “supergroup” The Big Six. Laatstgenoemde zegt het volgende over deze track:
‘New Devil‘ is Attila showing respect to our roots. We grew up listening to heavy music, creating heavy music, and we will continue making heavy music. Lyrically the song is paying homage to our earlier works of art with a lot of references to our older songs. We wanted to make something heavy and it turned out absolutely gross.
