De Duitse metalcore band ACCVSED heeft via Arising Empire een video uitgebracht voor hun nieuwe single “Avoider”.
De band zegt het volgende over de track:
Avoider delves into the recurring cycle of fearing emotional vulnerability and consequently falling back into destructive patterns. The protagonist, afraid of accepting help and affection, pushes away the good in their life. Despite yearning for liberation and understanding, they only realize their mistake when it’s already too late. Musically, ACCVSED didn’t stray far from their distinctive sound, packing cheeky riffs mixed with brutal yet elegant vocals and a characteristic, impelling hook.
ACCVSED is opgericht in 2021 en is afkomstig uit Wiesbaden. Ze realiseerde zich al snel dat een lokale band zijn niet hun ambitie was. Ze gingen snel aan de slag en hadden een significante impact op de muziekscene met hun debuut-EP, “House of Doubt”, uitgebracht in december 2023. De baanbrekende single “Currents” leidde de 6-nummers tellende EP, die een basis legde voor hun constant evoluerende muziekstijl en hen wereldwijde aandacht opleverde. Dit succes resulteerde in support shows en festivaloptredens door heel Duitsland, wat hun reputatie als een formidabele aanwezigheid in de heavy music scene bevestigde.
