De Australisch-Nederlandse metalcore band Sugar Spine blijft hun succes voortzetten met de release van hun nieuwste single “Chrome Coloured Ribcage”. Na hun recente signing bij Prime Collective en hun toevoeging aan het roster van Doomstar Bookings, zet de band een volgende stap met hun meest intense en persoonlijke track tot nu toe.
Vocalist Josh Muncke zegt het volgende over de nieuwe track
This is the first track that wasn’t written just by myself, so it’s a really special song that shows just how much this band has developed from a bedroom solo project. Our guitarist Sietse made the track, and I threw everything I had into the lyrics. ‘Chrome Coloured Ribcage’ is the purest and nastiest form of self-punishment I’ve ever written, reflecting the battle between my ‘good’ and ‘bad’ sides. The ultimate question is whether I’ll ever get out of this headspace.
