Het was, buiten The Talent Tour om, al even stil rondom The Rock Circus editie van dit jaar en vandaag is helaas duidelijk geworden waarom dat zo is: het festival is afgelast. Er komt vooralsnog geen vervangend evenement. Wel zullen een aantal artiesten clubshows spelen die in de komende tijd bekend worden gemaakt.
De organisatie schrijft:
Dear family of the circus,
With a heavy heart we have to announce that The Rock Circus is canceled. This has not been an easy decision as we’ve seen how much love you’ve been giving us. While we’ve put so much passion into the festival, we unfortunately could not meet the expectations or requirements for the festival to continue.
Not only do we want to thank the incredible bands that would have played this year, but also you as our enthusiastic crowd that supported us through the journey. Keep an eye open for a bunch of our line up bands that will be playing other shows throughout the country.
All ticket buyers will receive an automatic refund via Ticketmaster.
De eerste en tot nu toe enige editie van het festival vond plaats in 2023 met Powerwolf en Electric Callboy bovenaan de poster. Dit jaar zouden onder andere Dropkick Murphys en Alestorm optreden.
The Rock Circus 2025 stond gepland voor 17, 18 en 19 oktober in de Brabanthallen in Den Bosch. Tickets zullen automatisch terugbetaald worden via Ticketmaster.
