De Duitse metalcore band Caliban heeft bij een concert in Birmingham, Engeland, de show stil moeten leggen wegens een incident in de moshpit. De band reageert op Instagram en deelt dat de vrouwelijke fan het bewustzijn verloor na gevallen te zijn bij de show in de “Back From Hell Tour”.
De band deelt op Instagram:
We had to interrupt our show last night after a serious incident in the moshpit at our show at Asylum Birmingham.
A girl was injured during our set—she fell and was unconscious and unresponsive for several minutes. She suffered injuries to her face and was immediately attended to by venue staff.
Thanks to the fast response of the team on-site and the calm, respectful behavior of the crowd, the situation was handled swiftly and professionally. Emergency services were called, and we’ve since been informed that, despite the nature of her injuries, she is expected to make a full recovery.
The safety of everyone at our shows is always our highest priority. We want to thank the venue staff and promoter for their outstanding handling of the situation. (There is a merch care package waiting for you at the venue.)

De tour lijkt gewoon door te gaan. Caliban is met de Europese tour al in Dynamo, Eindhoven, geweest afgelopen dinsdag 6 mei. Het incident lijkt de tour niet verstoord te hebben.
