De Australisch-Nederlandse metalcore band Sugar Spine heeft hun nieuwe EP “Violent Heaven” aangekondigd, die op 21 augustus 2025 verschijnt via Prime Collective. Ter gelegenheid van deze aankondiging brengt de band ook een nieuwe single uit, “To Fade Quietly”, waarop Chris Zuehlke van Half Me te horen is. Het nummer behandelt thema’s als nostalgie en verlies en combineert zware riffs met emotioneel geladen vocalen.

Honestly, I was full of despair when writing this track. The inevitability that our childhood dreams and memories fade over time is really depressing, and so I’m mourning what we had as kids, knowing that we’ll never get the dreams and memories back. Having Chris (Half Me) on this track is really special as well; we’ve grown really close together in such a short time, and his addition to the song is perfect.
