De Canadese hardcore band Cancer Bats heeft een video uitgebracht voor de nieuwe track “Backstab The Rat Race” en extra data toegevoegd aan hun eerder aangekondigde Europese tour.
Over de nieuwe track zegt de band:
‘Backstab The Rat Race‘ is all about rejecting the traps of modern society. Grinding 50+ hrs a week, at a job you hate, only to have everything in life double in price. The game is rigged. So in rejection we find our own ways to navigate this world, our own ways to win. Think past the standards set for us that don’t apply. The newest the biggest the shiniest will just keep us running in place where only banks and corporations are the real winners. Leave the game for them to play and we can enjoy our lives filled experience and joy.
