De Amerikaanse extreme metal band Vale Of Pnath brengt op 24 mei hun nieuwe album “Between The Worlds Of Life And Death” uit via Willowtip Records en heeft met deze aankondiging de eerste single “The Burning Light” uitgebracht.
De band, die momenteel bestaat uit zanger Ken Sorceron (Abigail Williams, ex-The Faceless), gitarist Vance Valenzuela (Abigail Williams, ex-Flub), basist Austin Rolla (Anthrocide) en drummer Gabe Seeber (Abigail Williams, Divine Heresy, The Kennedy Veil), zegt het volgende over de aankondiging:
It’s been 5 years since our last release, “Accursed”. The EP really was a new avenue for the band as we leaned further toward a more blackened approach stylistically. Having more of a tech death background, this EP was a way to lead our fans into the next era.
“Between The Worlds Of Life And Death” is an album that really is just a continuation of what we started with “Accursed”. It captures the band’s core sound, but also brings a newer and bold take on this brand of metal. We want this to be the most approachable album we have made for metal fans. We want people to put this on and be sucked in immediately, yet keep coming back for more.
Op het nieuwe album zullen solo’s te vinden zijn van Michael Wilson op “No Return, No Regret”, van Donny Burbage (Cradle Of Filth, Aether Realm) op “Shadow” en “Soul Offering”, van Miles Dimitri Baker (Interloper) op “Beneath Ashen Skies”, van Christian Muenzner (ex-Necrophagist, ex-Obscura, Alkaloid) op “Uncertain Tomorrow” en van Matthew Brown (Demon King) op “Shadow”. Het nieuwe album bevat ook composities van Wayne Ingram (Wilderun) op “The Forgotten Path” en “Echoes Of The Past” en cello van Christopher Edward Brown.
