De Amerikaanse post-hardcore supergroep L.S. Dunes, bestaande uit leden van My Chemical Romance, Coheed And Cambria, Circa Survive, Thursday en meer, heeft hun tweede album “Violet” aangekondigd. Het album komt op 31 januari 2025 uit via Fantasy Records en is geproduceerd door Will Yip.
Bassist Tim Payne zegt er het volgende over:
As an album, Violet encapsulates everything we’ve been trying to accomplish since we formed as a band. Which is to give us each, as individual musicians, a safe space to explore music in ways that we have not yet had the chance to. Having become much more familiar with each other as artists, we were able to continue to push each other’s creative limits, but this time with a concerted effort to put the songs above all else. This helped create a very cohesive sound, while still being true to our own stylistic choices.
