De Zweedse heavy metal band Avatar heeft vandaag de nieuwe single “In The Airwaves” uitgebracht. Deze stond gepland voor 18 juli, maar de bijbehorende video, door Johan Carlén is op 17 juli al online geplaatst. De single is gelijknamig aan de Europese tour die vandaag is gestart in het Ernst Happelstadion in Wenen.

Avatar speelt op 23 juli in het Gelredome in Arnhem in het voorprogramma van de Britse heavy metal band Iron Maiden, tickets voor dit concert zijn helaas uitverkocht. Op 20 februari 2026 staat de band in AFAS live. Tickets voor dit concert zijn hier verkrijgbaar.
