The Heavy Hunt is an online magazine dedicated to heavy music. We write about metal, hardcore and many of its subgenres. The main focus is (currently) on metalcore and deathcore. We write about bands, festivals and everything related to this type of music.

Our Values

We love heavy music and like to share our passion with others. What makes us different is that we carefully select the bands we cover. We follow our intuition and if we discover a new band and love what they do or think a band suits our target audience, we write about it. Main requirement is that it needs to be heavy (except Ghost <3).

Our History

The Heavy Hunt started as a YouTube channel on April 1, 2021 out of love for music and graphic design/video editing. A year later, in April 2022, the idea was born to start an online magazine based on the YouTube channel, which quickly became reality.
