De organisatie van Graspop Metal Meeting heeft als aftrap voor deze week een nieuwe headliner bekendgemaakt voor zaterdag 17 juni: de Australische metalcore band Parkway Drive zal de North Stage afsluiten.
Since 2003 the Australian quintet have been one of the leading lights of the metal scene with their no-nonsense metalcore. Their seventh studio effort ‘Darker Still’ was one of the best-received metal slabs of 2022. Since their maiden appearance here in 2009 they have gone from strength to strength with their 2018 headlining set as the undisputed highlight. This year they are back to set our North Stage ablaze with another electrifying headlining performance on Saturday 17 June.
Naast Parkway Drive zal ook Slipknot het festival headlinen op de zaterdag. De 26e editie van Graspop Metal Meeting vindt plaats van 15 tot en met 18 juni en tickets gaan later dit jaar in de verkoop.
