Er is een hoop gaande rondom de Britse metalcore band Oceans Ate Alaska. Oprichter en nu voor de tweede keer ex-zanger James Harrison liet in een statement weten dat zijn terugkeer bij de band een fout was en dat ook gitarist Adam Zytkiewicz de band heeft verlaten. De band is ook weg bij Fearless Records, maar heeft wél een nieuwe single uitgebracht genaamd “Endless Hollow”, met nieuwe zanger Joel Haywood van Silent Screams.
De band start morgen hun tour met Currents, Being As An Ocean (die zonder zanger Joel Quartuccio komen) en Sentinels waarmee de band onder andere naar Poppodium 013 in Tilburg (NL) en Kavka in Antwerpen (BE) komt.

Most of you have already guessed it, but we would like to give Joel the biggest and warmest welcome possible! ✌🏻 Joel is a great friend of the band, an incredibly talented and hardworking vocalist, and will be joining Oceans full time from here on out!
Parting ways with James, Adam, and also Fearless Records was a very tough decision to make, but we hope this change has the most positive outcome possible for past and present members. Despite what some people may think, we have nothing but love for James and Adam! We wish them both happiness, health and good luck in their future endeavours. We will always appreciate all of the hard work they put into OAA over the years!
