De Australische metalcore band The Amity Affliction heeft een video uitgebracht voor de titeltrack van hun aankomende, achtste studioalbum “Not Without My Ghosts” dat op 12 mei uitkomt via Pure Noise Records.
Zanger Joel Birch zegt het volgende over de track:
It’s a song about the way which you can’t travel through life without dragging the ghosts of your past behind you, and how they manifest in their various forms.
Over het album zegt hij:
The paradox of not wanting to be alive, and yet needing to stay here, while also mourning the loss of friends and trying to use the music as catharsis.
